Paul Yeager on Bookmark and at BookFestPA

Hear a review of Paul Yeager's book, Weather Whys, and then come to hear him speak at BookFestPA on Saturday, July 16 at 4:00 PM at the Hintz Family Alumni Center. Come at 3 PM to also hear Daryl Gregory discuss his new book, Raising Stony Mayhall.

BookFestPA - start reading now

BookFestPA will be back on July 16, 2011. Lisa Scottoline, Nancy Martin, Tamar Myers will be at the Presbyterian Church for an Afternoon of Mystery. Young Adult authors Cyn Balog, Josh Berk, Lindsay Eland and Lindsay Barrett George will be at Schlow. Paul Yeager will be at the Hintz Alumni Center. Visit the book display to start reading before meeting all these authors.

Call for authors for BookFestPA 2011

Applications are now available for new local authors to participate in the 2nd Annual BookFestPA to take place on Saturday, July 16, 2011 from 10-5. This year, a tent will be set up in the Schlow parking lot and the authors will have their tables there. This will make us more a part of the Arts Festival.

Free Tax Assistance

The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program will be back at Schlow this year to help low-to-moderate income Centre County residents prepare basic tax returns including federal, state, local taxes and property tax/rent rebates.

Beginning February 7, through April 16.

Mondays and Wednesdays, Noon to 3 p.m.
